Florida Elite Anglers Opens 2026–2027 Season at Winter Haven
The 2026–2027 junior and high school tournament series kicked off with 70 teams on the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. Ella Ready and Landon Haynes swept both high school events with a combined 31.76 pounds, while Mac Swain/Lane Hermelbracht and Fisher Holloway/Brycen Moriarty took the junior division titles.
Forward-Facing Sonar Now Allowed in Abu Garcia High School Fishing
Effective immediately, anglers competing in Abu Garcia High School Fishing presented by Tackle Warehouse events will be allowed to use forward-facing and 360-degree sonar.
